Jama Benn Jama instantly reminded me of home. From the moment I walked in, the place had that cozy, lively Cuban vibe — salsa in the background, the smell of garlic and mojo in the air. The staff were friendly and quick, making sure everything came out fresh and hot. I tried the ropa vieja and tostones, and both were spot-on — tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The black beans and rice tasted just like abuela used to make. I paired it with a mango mojito, which was refreshing without being too sweet. For dessert, the flan was creamy and smooth, easily one of the best I’ve had in Miami. You can tell they care about every detail, from presentation to seasoning. Un lugar con un ambiente espectacular! Decoración, música y excelente comida. Un viaje a cuba en Hialeah. Estábamos a la expectativa fue nuestra primera vez y nos encantó!!! El ambiente es ideal para disfrutar en familia y puedes tomarte muchas fotos con toda la espectacular decoración que tienen. Los felicito! If you know Ms Jaime you know her standard. This local Gem 💎 gets a 5 star rating. The best food I've ever had!! The food was fresh, well seasoned it opened my senses. Whatever they did to the onions and fried pork, sheesh the guava cheesecake. For a moment my mind escaped.. Thoughts of life and culture. The food made me want to know who more about not only the Cuban culture but the people. The atmosphere is contagious, a mix of history with a theme park feel. My family was the only one there at the time wich was perfect. It felt like we rented out a theme park. I ran around with my wonderful son taking pictures like it was Saturday night at the fair haha. In life it is rare that a restaurant can take you out of your element. This gem deserves support. Proud to leave a review. ~ Mrs. H

Visitar este lugar, es como comprar un pasaje a la Cuba nostálgica. Pasearse por sus calles, oler el malecón, escuchar el bullicio de una tierra musical y llena de alegría. I wanted to share my experience with Jama Benn Jama. I called Alexa on Monday to ordered a roasted pig with Moro and yuca for my nursing retreat on Wednesday December 14 at 12:30 pm. I really wanted to surprise my team at JW. Well not only Alexa and her team delivered the food on time but they totally met my expectations with the presentation, the taste and how well the food was cooked. My nursing leadership was extremely happy and asking Viv from where did you order the roasted pig??. They were all taking pictures and sending the pictures to their family members and taking a food to their love ones. This place is way more than just a restaurant it’s a full-on experience of Cuban comfort food with a smoky southern twist I had the completa with scrambled eggs bacon and toast followed by their amazing pan con lechón and I can honestly say everything was cooked perfectly The croquetas are crispy outside creamy inside and go perfectly with the café con leche which is smooth and rich The brisket sandwich was also a standout tender meat and flavorful sauce in every bite The staff made me feel like I’d been coming there for years and the vibe is relaxed casual and welcoming I ended with the guava and cream cheese disco which was sweet flaky and perfect to wrap up the meal I’d give them ten stars if I could ~ Geraldine V

Muy buen servicio, pintoresco lugar para hacerse bonitas fotos, precios muy buenos, las porciones de comidas suficientes, lo único que hace falta en esta temporada que viene el spring break ( calor) son unas cervezas frías, pero aún no tienen el permiso de venta de licores ! Me encantó el lugar, expectativas cumplidas, muy bueno el servicio, súper atenta la mesera Lorena e Hilda, la señora q hace las croquetas más ricas de Hialeah, recomiendo mucho la carne, se cocina al bbq, todo fresco y el sabor súper rico, me gustó mucho la decoración, nos transporta a Cuba, lo recomiendo 100%. ~ Yanaisa R

The food is incredible and service is excellent. Specially this lady name LUCY is the best. Cada vez que voy a comer a Benni jama con mi familia la pasamos muy bien la comida siempre súper fresca el servicio excelente. Un lugar ideal para la familia cubana, para aquellos que sentimos nostalgia por nuestra patria sin duda una espacio para compartir con familiares y amigos. Excelente servicio y calidad en la comida cuenta con espacio climatizado y un buen espacio al aire libre , música en vivo sin dudas me teletransporté a nuestra patria querida. Welcome to a wonderland of art, adventure, and good food. This place is full of amazing art and fun things for all ages. The food was okay but you can tell it was cooked with lots of love. The sister owners were super friendly and gave us excellent service. This place is so big and has options for seating. You can sit inside or outside under the shade or in their back area. The restaurant has an eclectic atmosphere with quotes and sayings that show the owner’s sense of humor. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you try this local spot from Miami locals. We had a plate of croquetas, and a Cuban sandwich with fries. Will definitely return to this wonderful family owned establishment. ~ Maggie R

Great place to experience a taste of Cuban food, music, and the beautiful language. We started our meal with an outstanding appetizer of chicharons, sausage, and a sweet potato, and the plate was served with this super flavorful sauce; This is a must try. As for my actual dinner, I'm not a fan of black beans, but the rice and black beans were fantastic. The sweet potatoes were out of this world-hard to believe it was even a sweet potato. My entree was good, just not something I should have gotten - way too much food food for a light eater. Cuban dishes here could probably serve two of the average eating people. I would be eating on that single plate for 3 or 4 times before finishing it. ~ Tabitha H
